What Gunnie.ai is
Gunnie.ai is a gate between your AI assistant and the systems your team works in: Jira or Linear, Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub or GitLab, Magento, Akeneo and Figma. Your assistant asks Gunnie.ai; Gunnie.ai checks whether you may ask it, fetches the answer live from the system that owns the data, and writes the call down in your organisation’s call log.
Anything that would change something, such as a new ticket or a comment, is shown to you first and only happens after you approve it.
Before you start
- Your organisation is on Gunnie.ai and an admin has connected its systems. If not, the admin starts with the admin guide.
- An admin has added you as a member, with a role. Your role decides which tools your assistant sees.
- You use an AI assistant that supports custom connectors (MCP): Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others.
Add the connector in Claude
The connector address is https://app.gunnie.ai/mcp. It is the only thing you need to copy.
- Open Settings → Connectors in Claude (on the web or in the desktop app) and choose Add custom connector. Name it Gunnie.ai and paste the address.
- Click Connect and log in with your work email address. You land back in Claude when it is done.
- In a new chat, click + → Connectors and switch Gunnie.ai on. Then ask a question, for example “What can you do for me with Gunnie.ai, given my role?”
On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the custom connector for the whole organisation first; everyone then only clicks Connect.
ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants that support MCP connectors work the same way: add a custom connector with this address and log in when it asks.
Logging in
You log in with your work email address: Gunnie.ai sends you a link. Where your organisation has switched it on, you can also log in with Microsoft or your company’s single sign-on. An admin who invited you by email links your account the first time you log in.
The same login opens the control panel, where you see your calls, your approvals and the Get started page with the address and questions for your role.
More than one organisation
If you are a member of more than one organisation, the control panel shows an organisation menu at the top. Each organisation has its own members, systems, call log and approvals; nothing is shared between them.
Your role
There are 7 roles: Reader, Ticket creator, Designer, Business analyst, Product owner, Developer, Admin. Each role sees a fixed set of tools, and each system connection limits what those tools can reach, such as which Jira projects and which repositories.
What you can ask lists the tools of every role, with questions to try.
